Live Ceremony
For those who will not be able to be at Nat and Chris’s wedding we will be broadcasting the event and recording it on teams.
After the event, the recording will be published but you are also very welcome to join and watch the whole ceremony Live!
Could we just ask that you keep your microphone off during the ceremony and camera’s as well as we are not sure what the bandwidth will be like in The Guildhall. However, if we can, after the ceremony, we will try and make it possible for you to say hello to people.
Below are the instructions for joining the teams meeting. There are two versions dependant if you are using a laptop, desktop, mobile phone or tablet.
Joining from a laptop or desktop
If you are using a laptop I would suggest that you join via the web instead of downloading and installing the app. The web browser version should work perfectly well for this purpose
1. Go to the meeting using the following link below:
4. That'll open a web page, where you'll see two choices: Download the Windows app and Join on the web instead. If you join on the web, you can use either Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome. Your browser may ask if it's okay for Teams to use your mic and camera. Be sure to allow it so you'll be seen and heard in your meeting.
5. I would suggest your join on the web and avoid complicating the matter with an app download unless you already have Teams installed.
6. Enter your name and choose your audio and video settings. Please start with these on off or mute.
7. When you're ready, hit Join now.
8. This will bring you into the meeting lobby. If the meeting has started you will be let strait in but if not you will see a message that you will be let in when the meeting starts.
Joining on a mobile phone or tablet
Unfortunately when using a mobile you will need to install Microsoft Teams if you haven’t already got it. The web version does not work on a mobile and you wont get that option. However you do not need to login to anything and will only be asked your name so it can be seen who you are.
Even if you don't have a Teams account, you can still join a Teams meeting on the mobile app. Here's how:

2. If you don't already have the Teams mobile app, you'll be taken to your app store to download it.
3. Download and open the app.
If you have an Android device, open the app right from the app store page.
If you have an iOS device, tap the meeting link again to open the app.
Teams will ask if it's okay to use your mic. Be sure to allow it so others in the meeting will be able to hear you.
4. Next, you'll be given two options for joining your meeting: Join as a guest or Sign in and join. Choose Join as a guest.
